Improve the relationship with your child!
⁃Reduce power struggles
⁃Increase motivation and cooperation
PBC uses evidence-based curricula that have been shown to be effective at reducing disruptive behaviors for children whether or not they have co-occurring developmental or mental health diagnoses.
Group Coaching Sessions
Under the direction of one of PBC’s highly-skilled clinicians, families will meet weekly in a supportive, small-group setting. Each group will make their way through one of our evidence-based curricula shown to decrease disruptive behavior and increase cooperation in the home. During the course, participants can expect to learn strategies to help improve relationships with their child, develop reward systems, and reduce power struggles that can often plague family life. Each family will have individual time with the clinician to make treatment practical and effective for their own home. Programs run for 11-12 weeks and can be followed up with ongoing consultation as needed.
Individual Coaching Sessions
One of PBC’s clinicians will come to your home to deliver one of our evidence-based curricula shown to decrease disruptive behavior and increase cooperation in the home. Each week the clinician will focus directly on the needs of your family by teaching strategies to help improve the relationship between the caretaker and child. Roleplaying scenarios with the child in their own home, can give an important head start on the learning process. Programs run for 11-12 weeks and can be followed up with ongoing consultation as needed.
